Description
Snug Cove Dock was painted on a quiet July afternoon at Bowen Island’s ferry harbor, a place where time seems to slow down.
The white boat resting at the dock caught my attention—it gleamed under the soft light, its reflection mingling with lavender and turquoise ripples. Behind it, slender masts formed a rhythmic pattern against the misty mountains, evoking a gentle harmony between man and nature.
Through loose, spontaneous brushwork, I wanted to capture that fleeting balance—the hum of distant waves, the shimmer of air, and the unspoken serenity of a harbor waiting for dusk.
