Before the Light Breaks

Before sunrise in Vancouver, the sky erupts into a field of burning colour. Layers of orange, red, and violet surge across the horizon, pushing into the cooler blues above. The mountains and water remain in shadow, grounding the scene, while the sky carries the full intensity of a moment just before light fully emerges.
