A Taste of Autumn

Starting October 1 until November 30, Melo Patisserie in Vancouver becomes more than a beloved French dessert café—it transforms into a space where art and sweetness share the same air. Under the warm glow of autumn light, visitors are invited to experience my exhibition “A Taste of Autumn,” featuring more than 20 oil paintings inspired by the colors, stillness, and quiet emotions of the season.

Where Art Meets Dessert
This exhibition marks a unique collaboration between art and gastronomy. At Melo Patisserie, the scent of freshly baked pastries blends with the visual poetry of oil paintings. Each visitor is invited to explore two worlds of comfort—one defined by flavor and aroma, the other by texture and color. The result is a warm and inviting experience that delights both the eyes and the senses.

The Inspiration Behind the Colors
The paintings featured in A Taste of Autumn are deeply inspired by the landscapes and moods of the season. From the golden reflections on mountain lakes to the rustling of crimson leaves, every canvas captures a fleeting moment of light. Through layered brushwork and rich, warm tones, I aim to translate nature’s quiet rhythm into a visual language that evokes peace and introspection.
My work is often described as “healing art.” I find joy in exploring the harmony between color and silence—moments where the viewer can pause and breathe. This exhibition invites everyone to slow down and rediscover the serenity within simplicity.
A Gentle Experience of Healing and Warmth
Displaying my paintings in Melo Patisserie, surrounded by the aroma of butter and coffee, feels like the perfect harmony between two art forms. I hope visitors can find comfort and inspiration here—whether they come for dessert, for art, or simply for a little autumn calm.
