Description
A woven basket rests at the edge of containment, blossoms spilling outward in thick impasto strokes. Petals of gold, ivory, and warm amber emerge from a field of cobalt and ultramarine, forming a luminous contrast.
The blue does not recede into background; it becomes depth — a silent space against which light asserts itself. The flowers feel less arranged than released, as though abundance has found its own direction.
In The Overflow of Light, the vessel symbolizes the limits of form, while the blossoms suggest inner radiance made visible. What overflows is not simply colour, but presence — a state in which fullness cannot remain contained.
