Light, Coffee, and Quiet Moments
An Exhibition at Bean Around The World Coffees – Granville

From January 15 through early March 2026, a selection of my oil paintings will be on view at Bean Around The World Coffees on Granville, a beloved neighborhood café known for its warm atmosphere and strong support of local creatives.
This exhibition presents 19 selected oil paintings, created between winter and early spring. Rather than dramatic statements, the works focus on subtle shifts of light, atmosphere, and mood — moments drawn from everyday experience, where stillness quietly reveals itself.
A Conversation Between Coffee and Paintings
What makes this collaboration especially meaningful is the shared rhythm between the space and the work.
On one side, the warmth of freshly brewed coffee — familiar, grounding, and comforting. On the other, the silent rhythm of painted light — layered brushstrokes capturing fleeting sensations of calm and presence.
Together, the café becomes more than a place to pass through. It becomes a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect — whether for a brief moment or a longer stay.
