Blooming was painted en plein air at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Park, a place where colors and light dance together in summer air.
The tall golden blooms stand proudly against the backdrop of distant mountains, their rhythm echoing the pulse of nature itself.
Through textured brushwork and vibrant hues, I sought to convey the sense of vitality and harmony—the feeling that life, no matter how fleeting, always finds a way to bloom. The warm sunlight glows on each petal, and in that glow lies a quiet reminder of hope, resilience, and beauty renewed.
