Description
Pond was painted en plein air at Vancouver’s VanDusen Botanical Garden — a moment of quiet contemplation before nature’s mirror. The surface of the water holds shifting colors of sky and foliage, merging the visible and the intangible.
Rather than describing each detail, the painting seeks to capture the sensation of stillness meeting motion — a meditative balance between what is seen and what is felt.
Through light, color, and the soft rhythm of reflection, the pond becomes a metaphor for inner calm — a space where silence speaks and nature listens.
